Hotel Management with Executive Housekeeper   

Advance your career within the hospitality industry by learning the fundamentals of hotel management and executive housekeeping. Hardware Requirements:

  • This course can be taken on either a PC or Mac.

Software Requirements:

  • PC: Windows 8 or later.
  • Mac: macOS 12 or later.
  • Browser: The latest version of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox are preferred. Microsoft Edge and Safari are also compatible.
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader.
  • Any word processing application.
  • Software must be installed and fully operational before the course begins.

Other:

  • Email capabilities and access to a personal email account.

The hospitality industry provides a variety of jobs and opportunities to advance worldwide. Learning the skills needed to manage any venue, hotel, motel, resort, or accommodation house and supervise housekeeping staff will position you for success within this growing field.

This hotel management course bundle will train you for managerial positions in the hospitality industry. The principles learned can be transferred to multiple accommodation types such as hotels, motels, resorts, bed and breakfasts, or any other business that provides accommodation or lodging. You will discover the different management structures of hospitality, from the front office to housekeeping, and how to organize and oversee staff.

The course will also cover food and beverage operations—from menu planning and food production to service standards and hygiene requirements. Throughout this hotel management training program, you will dive into key areas such as security protocols, emergency preparedness, accounting basics, budgeting, forecasting, and revenue-management strategies. You will explore hospitality marketing, sales techniques, event-planning support, human-resources functions, and the legal and regulatory requirements that keep lodging businesses compliant.

Lastly, you will become adept at recognizing quality staff during recruitment and implement hospitality training procedures to develop their potential. You will learn the management skills necessary to serve as a supervisor to other staff members and understand how to properly train and organize a team of housekeepers.

Marta Perrone is a graduate of UCLA with a B.A. in Spanish and Linguistics and has over 30 years of experience in the Private Service Industry. She owned and managed a domestic placement agency for 20 of those years while spending the last 10 conducting training seminars, creating training materials and providing personalized in-home manuals and training.

Thea Roberts is an instructor with a background in business administration. Previously, she was a finance officer and employment advisor. She also held a position in the Washington State Ombudsman Program. Roberts holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Arts.
